The choice between Airbnb and the Dorm

Searching for a place to live in LA wasn’t easy as it could be either expensive or not easy to commute for a person without a car.

When digging more information from the Millennium Dance Complex official website, I noticed the option of staying in the dorm owned by the studio through a simple application.: https://www.ladancedorms.com/

Living with many people in the same room shouldn’t be a problem although I wasn’t 100% sure if I could get used to it again years after college. However, taking the location into account, with only 20-min walking distance from the studio without LA traffic, this should be a good deal.

Most importantly, being an introvert had made myself realize that without some external force, I probably wouldn’t be able to get to know the dancers, the crowd and the community by simply taking the classes. I needed the dorm to get myself fully emerged to the scene.

In my later post about the dorm life, I will talk about how this could have been the best decision made for this entire plan.
